Its pretty cool looking and a neat concept. Where it gets lost is by sending me off if I want to read more. Especially when it sends me to another site. It would be great if it kept me on your site or better yet if it expanded right there unless it was tons of content. One other nit was the fact that it keeps scrolling and playing back even if you click something, it only pauses momentarily. The motion is distracting.
I totally agree…I’d also like to seem them really work the mobile space a bit too - in terms of collaborating on a family story, wouldn’t it be cool if you could send photos from a trip to the Zoo or Aquarium to your profile via a mobile interface?
As a User Interface/Experience Designer, I specialize in solving problems for both users and businesses through the use of research, data, best practices and standards. I bring with me over nine years of experience at small to large companies and non-profits. I am experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies, Site Catalyst and Visual Design. A strong communicator, I work closely with Product Management and other business partners. I'm very interested in working with social networks, financial consumer tools, travel tools and mobile applications.

Megan,
Cool use of the timeline. I like the suggestions as well. Being able to send a mobile photo is actually on our development list.

Thanks Sam!
